The eye-line is usually placed along the lash line unless the client requests otherwise. The contract is filled in and signed. The topical anaesthetic is applied. If both upper and lower eyeliner has been requested, the upper is usually treated first. It takes an average of ten minutes per eyelid to implant the pigment. On completion of the procedure, after care is given as well as home care instructions. The treatment time is one hour for the upper eyeliner and one hour for the lower.
